Interesting shot … but I’m kinda confused by the light filters and other peripheral ‘technique’ you’ve used in the image … Can you give techy detail? ie. camaera used, filters used, and/or photoshop applied … Just kinda curious …

Now that’s what I call a boathouse! We don’t have many boathouse up near me, but I always admire them when I come across them. Back in the 1920s, there was a large boathouse with an apartment above it on our island. One spring the ice ripped it out though. So now all that’s left is the rock cribbing and the seats from the 30 foot long launch that was stored in the boathouse when it wasn’t being used for bootlegging. I wish that we had pictures of it.

Lovely boat house…is this an actual cottage or a boat house…so often these are just boat houses with the main cottage up the slope a little! :0)

Yesterday your eye candy had a flurry of snow! It has been a bit chilly. It is amazing what these places can stand from extreme heat to extreme winter cold.
