Henshaw Lake in Muskoka

I took over 100 new photos last weekend and my CF card crapped out on me. Thanks to the data recovery software I got them back. Henshaw Lake on #118 towards Port Carling . Some of the smaller lakes are freezing over. You don’t dare walk on them yet though.

I like this shot very much Ed. That little touch of red on the sumachs at the front is the perfect touch of colour! I am glad you were able to recover your photos! I don’t know Henshaw Lake – don’t go Port Carling way very often!

Great photo Ed…so peaceful and calm…but yes…stay off the ice!
Thank goodness for modern technology…it would have been sad not to be able to recover your photos!
Cheers

What a beautiful picture! I have to see Muskoka! Are there any ‘hotels on the lake’ in that area?

Hiya
What a great shot! I am the direct decendant of which the lake was named after. You have shot the prettiest pic I have ever seen of the lake. Great job!
